CFM best private bank in Monaco

The Credit Foncier de Monaco (CFM) has been voted the best private bank in Monaco in the 2009 Euromoney private banking survey.

The survey was carried out last year between July and October. It took into account banks' key statistics relating to wealth management operations, but also asked frontline staff to rate other banks in their country.

Monaco Telecom's new CEO

New CEO Martin Peronnet has outlined plans to improve telecom services in the Principality.

The new CEO met the press at the beginning of February to outline plans for the coming year. After a shaky start to 2008, when Monaco's Internet connection crashed for 45 minutes in January, Peronnet assured residential and business clients that improvements to Internet services would be seen in the coming months. The company also plans to offer more HD television channels, new content and video on demand.

NGEF: Next Generation Entrepreneurs Forum 2009

After a break of 2 years, the Next Generation Entrepreneurs Forum (NGEF) is going ahead in 3 weeks time.

The conference is being held on 12 and 13 March in the Camille Blanc room of the Grimaldi Forum and takes the same format as previous years, with keynote speakers, networking lunches, discussion forums and a business plan competition.

Better bus service

Good news for users of public transport in Monaco. From 2 February 2009, there'll be more buses running for longer in the Principality.
