All change on the buses

If you're visiting Monaco while the Tour de France is in town, make sure you know about the changes to the bus services.

Within Monaco, bus journeys will be free of charge on Saturday 4 July, but lines 2 and 4 won't be operating. This is the day the cycling competition time trials will be running through the Principality. On Sunday 5 July, route 4 won't run in the morning and other routes will be diverted.

If you're traveling to Monaco from Nice, whichever bus you take will stop at the western entry point to the Principality, at the Cimetiere bus stop. From here you'll have to transfer to CAM bus number 6 to get across town. You may be better off taking the train, which will have extra services laid on for the cycling fans.

You'll find more detailed information on the Monaco buses (CAM) website and the Alpes Maritime transport pages.
