Just a few weeks before elections for the Maire, a new candidate appears.

Monegasques will be voting for the communal council on 13th and 20th March. Current Mayor Georges Marsan was elected in 2007 with a majority of 2605 votes out of 3334. Standing against Marsan this year is Loic Pompee, a 33 years old manager of the company Monaco Design.
