Prince discusses Millennium Development Goals

Prince Albert will speak at the United Nations summit this evening.

Prince Albert is currently in New York for the United Nations Summit on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). He's taking part in 2 round tables, one on health and education, and the other on the value of sport in achieving the MDGs.

The Prince will also be present at the launch of New York's Climate Week, a precursor to the Cancun Climate Summit in Mexico from 29th November to 10th December. Venturi Automobile's Gildo Pallanca Pastor is taking part too, promoting the development and use of electric vehicles alongside Prince Albert.

Monaco's sovereign will just about have time to attend a working lunch tomorrow on Rio + 20, which is the theme of the 2012 UN conference, before jetting off to Moscow to discuss the Arctic.
