Agreement to cooperate on information technology.
Monaco Telecom [1] has signed a partnership agreement with Eurecom [2], the international engineering school and communication systems research centre at Sophia Antipolis. The partnership should provide Monaco Telecom access to cutting-edge technical expertise and training. Eurecom is also known for its expertise in multimedia and information security.
Both organizations are associated with the Spectra research project on new-generation cognitive mobile networks, supported by Eureka [3] and co-financed by the Principality. The Monegasque operator will be testing the new technology.
